Dry ginger coffee (Sukku malli coffee)

Hi friends,
Dry ginger coffee (Sukku malli coffee) is a spicy drink.  Dry ginger and coriander both have medicinal properties. Its the best remedy for throat pain. I've seen some who drink this without milk but I always add milk to it. Its upto you to decide to add milk or not. Mind you, this will be really spicy without milk. Its not refreshing like tea or coffee but its the best drink to have in winter.

   Ingredients:
  • 100g of coriander seed
  • 50g of dry ginger
  •  Boiled milk
  • Sugar

Method:
  • Dry grind both coriander seed and the dry ginger in a mixer jar.
  • Transfer the powder into an air tight container.

  • To make a glass of dry ginger coffee, boil 3/4 of glass of water.
  • Once the water reaches the boiling stage, add 2 teaspoonful  of coriander and dry ginger powder.
  • Remove it from the stove and leave it for two to three minutes.

  • Filter it in a glass .
  • Add sugar and milk and stir it well.
  • Now the dry ginger coffee is ready to serve.
Note:
Instead of sugar we can add jaggery also.

Just prepare it now and have a hot sip!
